Cookie Policy
Effective Date: 13 April 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how PrintYard ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our platform at printyard.io. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences and enable certain features to work. Cookies can be "first-party" (set by the website you are visiting) or "third-party" (set by a different domain).
2. Your Consent
When you first visit PrintYard, a cookie banner will appear asking you to choose between "Accept All" and "Necessary Only". Your choice is stored in a cookie for 365 days.
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, as they are essential for the Platform to function. All other cookies are only set after you give your explicit consent by clicking "Accept All".
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clearing your browser cookies and revisiting the Platform, which will trigger the consent banner again.
3. Cookies We Use
3.1. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Platform to operate. They cannot be disabled. Without them, services you have requested (such as logging in) cannot be provided.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Type | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
| authjs.session-token | Stores your authenticated session (JWT). Required to keep you logged in and enforce role-based access. | First-party, HTTP-only, Secure | Session / configurable expiry |
| authjs.csrf-token | Protects against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks on authentication endpoints. | First-party, HTTP-only, Secure | Session |
| authjs.callback-url | Remembers the page you were visiting before login so you can be redirected back after authentication. | First-party, HTTP-only, Secure | Session |
| printyard-cookie-consent | Stores your cookie consent preference ("Accept All" or "Necessary Only"). | First-party | 365 days |
3.2. Functional Cookies
We do not currently use any functional cookies beyond the strictly necessary cookies listed above. If we introduce functional cookies in the future (e.g., language preferences or UI settings), this policy will be updated accordingly.
3.3. Analytics Cookies
We do not currently use any third-party analytics or tracking cookies (such as Google Analytics). If we introduce analytics cookies in the future, they will only be activated after you give explicit consent via the cookie banner, and this policy will be updated to reflect the change.
3.4. Marketing & Advertising Cookies
We do not use any marketing, advertising, or social-media tracking cookies.
4. Third-Party Cookies
When you interact with our payment provider (Mollie) during checkout, Mollie may set its own cookies on its payment pages. These cookies are governed by Mollie's privacy and cookie policies, not ours. We do not control these cookies.
If you sign in with Google OAuth, Google may set cookies during the authentication flow on Google's domains. These are governed by Google's privacy policy.
5. How to Manage Cookies
You can control cookies in several ways:
- Cookie banner: Choose "Necessary Only" when the banner appears to reject all non-essential cookies.
- Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the Platform from functioning correctly (e.g., you will not be able to log in).
- Resetting consent: Clear the printyard-cookie-consent cookie from your browser, and the consent banner will reappear on your next visit.
6. Local Storage & Similar Technologies
In addition to cookies, the Platform may use browser local storage or session storage for client-side UI state (such as theme preferences or form drafts). This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
7. Changes to This Policy
If we introduce new types of cookies (e.g., analytics), we will update this Cookie Policy and, where required, request your consent again via the cookie banner. The "Effective Date" at the top indicates the latest revision.
