This is my take on a wall display for my helmet collection. Print the two pieces and connect them with a 3/4" dowel. Use #6 x 5/8" screws to keep the parts aligned.

I added a second set sized for metric dowels.
Wall Mount IN 1 & 2 => 3/4" or 19mm wooden dowel
