Ender 3 Y-Axis Belt Tensioner Remix

By HauntedWorkshopSource

UPDATE 6/14/2019: I wouldn't recommend this design anymore. It has a tendency to break at the mounting point. I went back to the stock tensioner after getting Y-axis layer shifting due to the broken mount. I'll leave it here if anyone wants it, but there are better designs out there. --------------------------------------------------------------------- I really like the belt tensioner by anubis86, but the bed hit the bracket when it moved forward, reducing the print area. I removed the top mounting screws and modified the bracket to only mount on the bottom rail using MakeChetti's design as inspiration. This allows full travel of the bed without interference. The slider and knob are included here for convenience, but are unchanged from the original anubis86 designs, which can be found here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3074280 along with the X axis tensioner. Uses original mounting hardware and 1 M3x20 screw and 1 M3 nut for the knob. Tools required: 3mm allen wrench, 5mm allen wrench, 13mm socket or wrench. User, rafb repaired the file and shared it so we can all benefit from his work. Thank you, rafb. The repaired stl is now in the files section as Y_tensioner_remake_cleaned.stl
